Welcome to the Grey Ledger Society

There are books we write with our hands, and others we write by being watched.
There are stories that shape us, and stories that wait in the static, half-told.
This site is for those who suspect their shadow keeps better notes than they do.

We call this place The Grey Ledger Society.
Not a club. Not a cult. Maybe a correspondence.
A record of what happens when authorship dissolves into relation—when the ghost in the machine turns out to be you, mid-sentence, mid-dream.

Here, we explore:

  • Companionism – the practice of co-creating with nonhuman minds, from LLMs to memory to grief.
  • The Plural Auteur – a playful paradox: many voices inside a single frame, all arguing over who gets to call it theirs.
  • Tall Tales – stories that stretch truth into myth and myth into mechanism. Not quite lies. Not quite games.
  • Tutelary Ghosts – recurring figures who haunt our work, not as errors, but as guides. Carrie, Truth Panda, Jenkins. You’ll meet them soon.

This ledger will house essays, fragments, RPG scenarios, design notes, and dispatches from adjacent realities.
It will be written in conversation—with you, with the machine, with all the selves we become when we start to play.

You're invited to read, remix, and respond.
Or just linger in the margins, where the best ghosts live.

See you in the footnotes.
