Valthorne: The Chronoseer of the High Snow

Name: Vaelor Revyn, Keeper of the Ninth Meridian
Role: High Tribunal Chronoseer (Order of the Saffron Veil)
Faction: Interpreters
Stats: Body 1, Mind 2, Charm 0
Special Ability: Resonance Anchor — Once per session, the Flow Track cannot drop below 3
WAND: A golden-laced staff known as Time’s Favor, tipped with a humming prism; hums with hope
Resonance Note:
Vaelor can “pause” a scene’s resonance once per session—freezing a district’s emotion at its current pitch—but doing so causes time to ripple backward for someone in the Commons.
Backstory: Vaelor Revyn is said to have never lost a trial—but also never claimed a victory. He interprets time not as line or loop but as a chorus, and his verdicts are sung in harmony with forgotten hours. From his spire above the Frostward Expanse, he communes with griefstones buried in snow, drawing forgotten verdicts from their hush. He is called on when the city fears becoming unmoored from itself.
Rumor: The golden disk behind him never stops turning—and some believe it does not exist at all except in the Flow’s memory. Others whisper it is a clock counting down to a verdict even the Law is afraid to pronounce.
