In this expansion, you'll play middle managers in Zeon's Solar Ray Project, caught between Gihren Zabi's impossible spacenoid supremacy KPIs and the constant threat of being reassigned to frontline Zaku duty for failing to meet your quarterly colony drop metrics. It's Gundam's most notorious military dictatorship meets agile development methodology, complete with Newtype research ethics committees and literally astronomical project scopes.

This installment captures the authentic Zeon experience: building increasingly elaborate superweapons while your supply lines collapse, dealing with megalomaniacal leadership who think "pivoting to Warfare-as-a-Service" is a viable strategy, and trying to maintain professional standards while your organization commits war crimes on an interplanetary scale. You'll navigate everything from ADA-compliant Mobile Suit design to emotional support Haros for traumatized pilots, all while trying to survive four Operation Cycles without being court-martialed or having your "performance review" conducted via Mobile Suit combat trial. It's corporate satire meets mecha warfare, where the only thing more terrifying than facing the White Base in combat is explaining to Gihren why your team missed their quarterly Earth Federation elimination targets.

Manager Traits (Zeon Edition)

  • Yes Commander: +1 Capacity when agreeing with military command, but you must always salute the Zabi family crest (even during asteroid impacts)
  • Newtype Intuition: Once per cycle, re-roll a failed Curse using "psychic insight," but lose 1 DPI if your precognition shows inevitable defeat

Victory/Defeat Conditions

Victory: Survive 4 Operation Cycles without being court-martialed for war crimes or reassigned to suicide missions in a Zaku I.

Defeat: DPI hits 0. Gihren personally orders your transfer to "special reconnaissance" (aka cannon fodder duty). Everyone updates their Side 3 employment profiles to "Seeking Non-Military Opportunities in Neutral Colonies."

Special Zeon Rules

The Char Maneuver: Once per cycle, any player may declare they are "operating independently" and attempt to resolve a Curse solo for double DPI gain. If they fail, they must explain their "tactical genius" to an increasingly skeptical command staff.

Minovsky Interference: Whenever a justification mentions "solar flare activity" or "Minovsky particles," all communication-based Curses get +2 Doom Points as sensor systems go haywire.

Operation British Protocol: Any Curse involving "colony drops" automatically becomes an "All Hands" situation requiring immediate crisis response from all departments.

Authentic Zeon Experience

Just like serving the Principality: building increasingly elaborate superweapons while your supply lines collapse, dealing with megalomaniacal leadership, and trying to maintain professional standards while committing atrocities. The only difference is in the game, you might not get killed by a teenager in a prototype Mobile Suit!
